Mesodeep is a mildly invasive treatment suitable for stubborn pigmentation. While Mesolite works on superficial or epidermal pigmentation, Mesodeep works better on dermal pigmentation. In this treatment a cocktail of Glutathione, Ascorbic Acid (vitamin C) and Tranexamic Acid is gently injected with a tiny needle on the pigmented areas. The medicine acts on the melanocytes – cells which produce melanin, which causes pigmentation – and breaks them up. This results in a reduction of melanin and lightens the pigmented areas.
