Ferulic acid is a potent antioxidant that protects the skin from the aggressions caused by free radicals, inhibiting and neutralising their action. It minimises the effects of sun damage, evens out skin tone, and enhances the effects of vitamins C and E. Phloretin, also an antioxidant, reduces the degradation of collagen and elastin, to help sustain the youthful suppleness of skin.
